We are a small company based near Sherborne Dorset.

When I say small I mean me… & my cat Booga!

I’m a packaging designer with a soft spot for greeting cards, and somewhere along the way, the two worlds collided—one of the delightful results? Salty Notes.

Friends and family can’t get enough of sending and receiving Salty Notes, so I figured it was time to introduce them to the great, big world. Be kind to me, world…

I handcraft the salts and candles in my cozy little studio, where my home is constantly filled with their wonderful aromas. Out of the MANY creations I’ve whipped up, I’ve narrowed it down to just three for the big website launch:

Un-plugged – A delightful blend of lavender and lemon essential oils. It’s like hitting "reset" on your senses.

Winter Warmer – This one lives up to its name! A comforting mix of cinnamon sticks and warm cloves, brightened by the juicy sweetness of orange. Warms the cockles, guaranteed.

Moon-bathing – Luxurious and a little rugged. Think tobacco, cedarwood, and leather, with a subtle hint of grapefruit. Perfect for those who like a more masculine fragrance.

So, what’s the deal with the shower bags?

WELL… while developing Salty Notes, I stumbled upon a surprising fact: less than 50% of people take baths (shocking, I know), and most prefer showers. My grand bath-salt plans were momentarily dashed—until I had a lightbulb moment. Why not use the salts in the shower? Turns out, you can still enjoy all the benefits of the salts (including those heavenly scents, just saying...) in a shower!

But how? Enter: Shower Bags. These biodegradable bags hold the salts and work as a gentle exfoliator as you rub the bag all over your body under a steamy, relaxing shower. Yes, I know—genius!
